The Lilliput BM310-4KS 31.5″ 4K HDMI Carry-On Broadcast Monitor is an affordable, large-sized field monitor.

The BM310-4KS 31.5″ 4K HDMI Carry-On Broadcast Monitor is constructed with CNC aluminum and features a 31.5″ 3840 x 2160 10-Bit display with 350 cd/m of brightness. Even though Lilliput is stating this is a 10-bit screen, it is actually 8+2 FRC. The BM310-4KS has a 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angle. The monitor covers 97% of the DCI-P3 Color Space.

The monitor has a multitude of inputs, including HDMI, SDI, DVI, and VGA, which can be viewed simultaneously by utilizing the display’s quad-view function. What you need to clearly know is that the SDI input is only 3G, so the only way to display UHD is via HDMI.

As you would expect, the monitor has a host of built-in monitoring tools that include on-screen markers, focus peaking, false color, check field, histogram, etc. Below you can see what is available:

You can load 3D LUTs via the unit’s USB Type-A connector on the rear of the monitor. The monitor weighs 13.3kg / 29.32 lbs.

You can power the monitor using the included power adapter when you have access to a wall outlet or it can be run via battery power when working out in the field via the included V-mount or AB Gold Mount battery plate (depending on the version you choose). This battery plate is removable.

Color calibration supports the PRO/LTE version of ClourSpace CMS by Light Illusion for accurate reproduction of the image color space.

The Lilliput BM310-4KS 31.5″ 4K HDMI Carry-On Broadcast Monitor is now available to pre-order for $1,499 USD.
